Most big-brand luxury leather bags are made of animal skins. The Canadian luxury footwear and accessories brand Poppy Barley set a precedent, using cactus to create luxury vegan leather bags.

Recently, Canadian luxury footwear and accessories brand Poppy Barley announced the launch of the first vegan leather bag series PB Plant.

The brand’s new collection is made of environmentally friendly cactus leather. Vegan leather backpack, belt bags, and card bags are all carefully crafted by the Mexican solar factory in accordance with the brand’s environmental and sustainable development standards. The inner lining is made of cotton. Canvas, a kind of backpack, is about 1700 yuan thick.

Unlike traditional vegan leather, Poppy Barley's Laguaro leather is not made of plastics such as polyvinyl chloride (PVC) or polyurethane (PU). PU is not degradable and has poor air permeability.
