iRiS Software Systems, creator of the world’s most innovative in-room guest services application, will be running a workshop on mobile technology at this week’s Hotel Show.
Taking place on Thursday 19th May during the Hotel Show at the Dubai World Trade Centre, the workshop will explore the integration of mobile technology into hotel operations, the creation of a comprehensive mobile strategy and the technologies that are expected to shape the use of mobile applications in the hotel industry.
It will also highlight mobile travel features that are most important to leisure and business travellers and give an insight into how to quantify the business value of mobile as a communications and booking channel.
“Mobile technology is set to transform the entire hospitality market and it has become a hotelier’s critical tool to impact brand and brand loyalty, personalise the guest experience and cross sell/up-sell services†said Chris Atkin, Founding Partner iRiS Software Systems and COO. “And so, as these tools become more of an extension of consumers’ social networks, the need for hoteliers to tap into them becomes even more vitalâ€
