FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE | 16/05/2011 |
IFSEC 2011, Birmingham UK — MuxLab Inc (www.muxlab.com), designer and manufacturer of security video and audio-video connectivity solutions for copper twisted pair, announces its latest addition to its CCTV connectivity portfolio…..The CCTV IP Extender Kit (500110).
Developed for the professional CCTV market, the CCTV IP Extender Kit allows up to two IP cameras to be connected via coax or Cat5e/6 cable up to 1 mile (1.6 km) to a 10/100BaseT network switch.
The product allows existing coax CCTV cabling systems to be preserved when migrating to IP camera systems. The product also overcomes the distance limits of Ethernet by converting the signal to DSL-based transmission for extended distance thus expanding application to campus, parking lots and traffice monitoring applications.
The throughput increases as cable length shortens and therefore the CCTV IP Extender Kit supports transmission of up to 650 ft (200m) at 100 Mbps, thereby fully utilizing the Ethernent bandwidth.
The kit includes one Transmitter, one Receiver and two (2) power supplies and comes with a two (2) year warranty. Furthermore, the product is constructed of cast aluminum and complies with FCC Class A, CE and RoHS. Stop by the MuxLab booth at IFSEC 2011 and see the CCTV IP Extender in action.
