FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE | 11/08/2011 |
Kiosks4business, the Reading based designer and manufacturer of innovative touchscreen kiosks have a new addition to their kiosk range – the Eidos kiosk.
The all new Eidos kiosk is a free-standing touch screen kiosk designed to meet requirements for DDA and is suitable for use by wheelchair users and others.
The new Eidos kiosk has a simple, streamline design which would fit into most surroundings with ease. With or without a keyboard the Eidos kiosk has a modern look, and the lighting around the screen oozes sophistication and beckons people to interact with it.
Eidos has a choice of screen sizes from 17in up to widescreen 22in displays, all with capacitive touch screens. Multi-touch touchscreens, privacy filters and high brightness screens are available as an option.
Eidos has been designed to work with numerous peripherals including printers, bar code scanner, RFID, WiFi, 3G, multi-media and much more. Kiosks4business use high reliability industrial components in their products and provide a full solution for customer applications including design, installation, training and ongoing maintenance.
The kiosk is designed to include your branding on the main stand. This helps the kiosk to blend into its location, and give the impression of a custom kiosk machine. Due to the Eidos Kiosk displaying the organization or company branding it is not seen as an external information system and gives the users confidence when using the kiosk.
One of the important features of the Eidos kiosk design is that it is DDA compliant with its wheelchair accessible design, making it ideal for applications including Councils, NHS and Healthcare, Reception and waiting rooms, museums and other public places, where wheelchair accessibility and DDA design are a must.
Eidos can be used with Virtual Reception software to provide first-line contact with your visitors or use with Surveypoint to provide customer feedback and patient surveys.
Watch this space and keep an eye out for other forthcoming innovative products from Kiosks4business including chip and pin retail kiosks and other free-standing and wall mounted designs.
