Canberra, ACT ( connect2business ) October 1, 2013 - Murray Fisher Chiropractor is a family chiropractic practice which seeks to provide Canberra residents with access to expert and affordable chiropractic care as a means to achieving optimal health and wellness. The practice recently changed locations and is now in a larger space, conveniently located in the city centre.

The practice is open to individuals of all ages and backgrounds, from infants, children and teenagers alike, to adults and senior citizens. Practice sub-specialties include pregnancy and pre-natal chiropractic care. In short, everyone is welcome.

Chiropractic is focused on restoring the body's nervous system to it's optimal working condition, which in turn improves health, and allows an individual to live life to their fullest potential. This is achieved primarily through eliminating subluxations which are tiny misalignments of the bones of the spine.

Murray does all his work by hand, guided purely by touch, and during his three plus decades in practice he has safetly and gently adjusted more than 200,000 spines.

As a local Canberra chiropractor, his focus is holistic and although Murray works to address an individual's specific set of symptoms, whether it be back pain, migraines or other sypmtoms, he will also look for and treat the underlying cause of the illness, the subluxations.

An initial consultation with Murray typically lasts around 30 minutes and includes a full spinal examination. A patient will be asked to fill out a form prior to the consultation and this can be done at the practice or beforehand online. The chiropractor will then explain what needs to be done at which time a patient will receive their first adjustment, which is the process by which the chiropractor helps the body correct the underlying vertebral subluxation. The adjustment is a quick process and many patients find it to be a relaxing and pleasant experience.
