Dr. Kamal Sawan was educated at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, and trained in General Surgery and Plastic Surgery at the renowned Johns Hopkins Hospital, studying under leaders in the field of both cosmetic and reconstructive surgery.

Dr. Sawan moved to Oklahoma in 2003, where he became Chief of Plastic Surgery at the Oklahoma University (OU) Medical Center.
