Wireless Specialists Sequoia Technology Group based in Reading, United Kingdom has been awarded a Sales Excellence Award from Telit Wireless Solutions at their recent EMEA Sales conference - May 2012 in Zadar Croatia.

This was for 'The highest continuous growth in sales of Telit wireless modules since 2008'
Sequoia Technology Group has created considerable success in the Wireless M2M space over recent years – doubling year on year the sales of Telit cellular modules since 2008 to the present.

Carlos Perez – VP Sales EMEA at Telit said that this performance in a tough economic climate was "Amazing" and praised the commitment that Sequoia has shown to growing the M2M module usage in the UK.

In addition to the sale of Telit modules to the UK electronics market Sequoia Technology Group over recent years has developed its own range of M2M products using its wireless design ability. For example, the SQ864-GPRS Terminal, based on a Telit GC864-V2, is being widely used in various worldwide applications now in ticket machines, electric car charging pods and roadside information signs. Many other more sophisticated Sequoia designed terminals will shortly be announced. Application specific Telit based terminals such as the "Argon" – GPRS connected multi temperature sensor datalogger and alarm systems are also a feature of the Sequoia – Telit wireless success.
