Elk Grove Village, IL ( connect2business.co.uk ) April 12, 2014 - Midwest-based Carroll Seating Company (CSC), a nationwide mainstay in seating, casework, lockers, and furnishings in the educational, laboratory, healthcare, architecture and design, and sports and entertainment arenas, proudly announces expansion into the St. Louis, Missouri market. Edward Scheer, a local expert and architect, has been named Regional Director to head the new office.
Having established relationships with healthcare, commercial, and industrial clients in Illinois Kansas, Nebraska and Iowa, CSC's broad capabilities have continued to drive the company's expansion, and the time was right to offer services in Missouri.
Not defined by the "seating" portion of their name, the company manages projects in a variety of industries. With dedicated staff for healthcare facilities, CSC offers electronically adjustable workstations, and anti-microbial surfaces; CSC laboratory configurations bring flexibility while addressing the customer's specific needs - including compliance with SEFA 8 and LEED Design requirements. In libraries, CSC installs components to provide durability, customization, and functionality; student housing, architectural casework and woodwork are designed for quality and architectural appeal, and fabricated from a wide variety of materials.
Above all, cultivating and maintaining relationships with clients and key partners is a fundamental building block of Carroll Seating Company's business, and, with his expertise in architecture and laboratory planning, combined with his recognition in the St. Louis market, Edward Scheer was a natural fit as Regional Director.
"We're fortunate where we have Ed there who came from the lab and healthcare side," said Mike Carroll, Vice President of Carroll Seating Company. "He's a LEED-accredited architect, and has spent years planning various kinds of labs - wet, dry, environmental, you name it. He's a true asset as we become established in this market." Scheer's work will focus on business development and project management efforts, working with architects, general contractors and facilities managers throughout the region.
