Commercial Partnerships Lead (Realisation) x 2
Location: Flexible UK Locations with FlexFirst hybrid working, part-time working considered
Overview:
Join our British Gas Services and Solutions business as a Commercial Partnerships Lead. You'll be part of our CX and Commercial team, driving customer growth through strategic partnerships.
About the role:
In this role, you'll be at the forefront of launching and managing strategic partnerships. You'll coordinate with various internal teams, including operations, IT, customer service, engineering, finance, compliance, marketing, and reporting, to ensure everything is ready for a successful partnership launch. Your goal will be to ensure smooth transitions during the go-live phase, addressing any early implementation challenges that arise.
You'll work closely with our Product and Technology teams to integrate partner requirements into British Gas systems, ensuring everything runs seamlessly. Managing implementation plans will be a key part of your role, where you'll oversee critical pathways, key milestones, go-live dates, and address any risks or dependencies. Leading cross-functional meetings will be essential to track operational progress and resolve potential bottlenecks.
Beyond the launch, you'll monitor the performance of partnerships, providing updates through established trading forums. You'll innovate and develop business cases to unlock additional commercial benefits for our partnerships. Maintaining service levels and supporting partners will be a collaborative effort with the Partnership Development Manager and the Account Management team. Ensuring that contracts and campaigns are executed as agreed will be part of your ongoing responsibilities.
You'll also ensure operational compliance with FCA regulations, legal requirements, and British Gas governance standards, maintaining the highest standards of third-party assurance.
What we're looking for:
Experience in operational implementation or commercial execution, ideally in home services, telco, banking, energy, insurance, or large-scale partnerships.
Strong understanding of contract law, risk management, and compliance.
Ability to manage complex negotiations and balance partner expectations with business requirements.
Excellent project management and stakeholder communication skills.
