Job Title: General Manager (Remote, Part-Time)
Salary: £51,200 per annum (28 hours/week, FTE £64,000)

Location: Fully remote (with international travel 7-10 times per year)

Are you an adaptable leader with a talent for operations, events and governance? We are seeking a proactive General Manager to oversee operations and strategic delivery for a global medical society dedicated to specialist education.
You will be responsible for managing a small remote team, coordinating international events, ensuring compliance with charity regulations, and driving financial and operational sustainability. The role offers high flexibility, with full autonomy to manage your schedule.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee governance, compliance, and financial operations
• Manage global educational events and sponsor engagement
• Develop strategic plans in collaboration with the board
• Lead a remote team and freelance contractors
• Regular international travel (Europe, US, Asia/South America)
About You:
• Experienced in team leadership and operational management
• Skilled in event planning, financial oversight, and stakeholder engagement
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Familiar with charity governance and compliance
