HR Coordinator / Human Resources Administrator who is CIPD qualified and has previous experience working in a HR Administrative or HR coordination role with good knowledge of HR practices and procedures is required for a well-established IT Services Company based in the City of London.

SALARY: £30,000 - £35,000 pro rata + Benefits (see below)

LOCATION: Hybrid. Working from the City of London office (Faringdon / Chancery Lane) (EC1N) and from home

JOB TYPE: Part-Time, Permanent

WORKING HOURS: 4 Days per Week (3 Days from the London Office and 1 Day from Home)

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for an HR Coordinator / Human Resources Administrator who is CIPD qualified and has previous experience working in a HR Administrative or HR coordination role with good knowledge of HR practices and procedures.

Working as the HR Coordinator / Human Resources Administrator you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Human Resources department’s daily activities and procedures, contributing to a positive and productive work environment.

As the HR Coordinator / Human Resources Administrator you will be involved in a wide range of administrative tasks, such as coordinating recruitment processes, managing ATS databases, conducting background screening, booking interviews, assisting in policy drafting and implementation, facilitating communication between employees and management, assisting the payroll process with accurate HR reports. This requires an open mind to using new technology including AI to improve efficiency and breadth of your work allowing you to spend more time building meaningful relationships with employees and addressing their needs.

You are proficient using Microsoft Office including Teams and Excel. You have strong knowledge of HR practices and procedures, and a positive can-do attitude. Additionally, a proactive approach to learning and growing your skills is crucial, as it enables you to stay updated with the latest HR practices and technologies.

DUTIES

Your duties as the HR Coordinator / Human Resources Administrator include:

Recruitment and Onboarding:

  • Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening CVs, and coordinating interviews
  • Prepare and send offer letters, employment contracts, and other onboarding documentation
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including orientation sessions and completing necessary paperwork

Employee Records Management:

  • Maintain and update employee files, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations
  • Champion proper use of the HRIS including monitoring and updating relevant changes, track absences, holidays and other reports

HR Administration:

  • Handle general HR inquiries from employees regarding policies, benefits, and procedures
  • Assist in the administration of employee benefits programs, including enrolment and changes

Training and Development:

  • Track and document employee training and certification records

Compliance and Policy Implementation:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures

Employee Relations:

  • Support initiatives to improve employee engagement and satisfaction
  • Assist in resolving employee issues and conflicts in collaboration with HR management

Performance Management:

  • Assist in the administration of performance appraisal processes
  • Help track performance metrics and prepare related documentation

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • CIPD qualified
  • Must have previous experience in a HR administrative or HR coordinator role
  • Good knowledge of HR practices, policies, and procedures
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Proficiency in HRIS software (preferably Employment Hero)
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Ethical and with strong integrity, professional attitude
  • A proactive approach with the ability to work alone and unsupervised
  • An appreciation for quality and drive for excellence in all that you do
  • A good sense of humour
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
