Job Role:

• Loading and unloading parcels from the van (20kg max weight of parcels)

• Completing around 40 deliveries per shift

• Completing multiple drops at one establishment will count as several drops at once (Eg; 3 drops at 1 place will count as 3 drops, not 1)

• Ensuring timely deliveries and excellent customer service

• Delivering Parcels to customer homes and Argos Stores

• Maintaining accurate delivery records

• Performing vehicle checks and reporting any issues

Requirements for the role:

• Category B manual driving license entitlement (Held for over 1 year)

• Previous experience in a driving role

• No more than 6 penalty points (No DD/IN driving offences)

• Need to declare any previous convictions spent or unspent. We will be running an Basic DBS check - £25 charge

• Physically fit - Ability to lift and move items

• Friendly, polite nature - you will be the face of the business!

• Ability to pass a Drug & Alcohol test

Working Hours:

• Minimum 3-4 days a week

• 7/8 hour shifts

• Weekend flex (will be required to work either full weekends or one weekend day per week depending when needed)

• AMs: 5/6am -1pm

• PM's: 1/2pm - 9:45pm

Pay rates are as follows and are paid on a weekly basis through PAYE; holiday is accrued separately

Pay Rate: £13.45ph.
