Medical Secretary
Tees Valley Hospital
Part Time 22.5 Hours Per Week
9am-5pm Monday , Tuesday , Wednesday
Tees Valley Hospital are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and professional individual to join our Medical Secretary Team as a Medical Secretary and Audio Typist. The successful candidate will be expected to offer a comprehensive and varied secretarial service to Consultants and the Hospital.
What you will bring with you:
Essential Educated to GCSE level or equivalent Excellent Computer Skills (particularly MS Office Package)
Excellent word processing/audio skills – RSA II (or equivalent) or above. Sound written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the business Excellent Customer Service skills
Desirables Previous medical secretarial experience and/or knowledge of medical terminology Membership of AMSPAR
Personal Resilience
Be positive and even tempered in the workplace

Tees Valley Hospital is in the grounds of Acklam Hall in Middlesbrough and opened in February 2018. The hospital delivers a range of specialties including orthopaedics, general surgery, plastic surgery, urology, gynaecology, dermatology, oral, ENT, endoscopy, to both private and NHS patients.
