Job Opportunity: Full/Part-Time Dental Nurse

Location: Kirkby-In-Ashfield

Salary: from £12.50 per hour (To Be Negotiated)

Responsibilities

• Preparing the surgery - Ensuring the surgery is ready for use, including setting up the treatment room and making sure all necessary supplies are available
• Sterilizing instruments - Decontaminating instruments using a multi-stage process that may involve scrubbing, soaking, and autoclaving
• Assisting the dentist - Providing support during procedures, such as passing instruments, removing saliva, and ensuring proper suction
• Maintaining patient records - Taking notes during consultations and treatments, and collecting and maintaining dental and medical histories
• Educating patients - Providing oral health education and answering questions
• Maintaining a sterile environment - Ensuring the surgery is kept clean and tidy, and that health and safety policies are followed
• Managing supplies - Ordering dental supplies and managing stock
• Managing PPE - Ensuring that all patient-facing staff have the necessary supplies, such as masks, gloves, and gowns
