We're currently working on the behalf of a friendly construction company who are seeking an experienced Part-time Bookkeeper. You will be responsible for a variety of duties such as:
Entering invoices, sales ledger / purchase ledger
Bank reconciliations
VAT returns
CIS returns - experience of this isn't needed but could be useful
Some general reporting - cashflow, budgets etc
This is a sole responsibility role so you will need strong previous bookkeeping experience, and it would suit if you've worked as a Bookkeeper previously in a sole responsibility position. Ideally, you will have a good working knowledge of Sage Accounts software, and any experience in construction accounts would be beneficial but not essential. No previous payroll experience is required. The company are ideally looking for someone to work circa 24 hours per week, and can be flexible about how these hours are spread.
