Seasonal Grounds Maintenance Operative
Location: Northampton

Hourly Rate: £12.60 depending on experience 
Contract type: Full time, seasonal (7 month fixed term contract)
Working hours: 42 hours a week (annualised) 

About the role

We are looking for several Grounds Maintenance Operatives to join our team in Northampton, to support through the busy spring & summer seasons. You will support to keep a number of local, varied grounds in wonderful condition for our client through grass cutting; using a pedestrian and ride on mower, strimming, pruning, weeding, shrub & border maintenance, litter picking and any other related horticultural duties. It’s a great opportunity to develop your skills, gain valuable experience, and grow with us in a friendly and encouraging environment.

Requirements

• Can-do attitude and safety-conscious mindset.
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Previous Grounds Maintenance experience is required, and ride-on mower experience would be an advantage.
• A full valid UK driving license.
• PA1 and PA6 licenses are desirable.
• Experience using powered grounds maintenance machinery is desired.
