Part-time Finance and Office Admin

Location: Wheathampstead (Office-based 1 day per week)
Hours: 20 hours per week, flexible across the week
Salary: £30,500 FTE (equivalent to £15,250 for 20 hours/week)

We’re seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance & Office Admin Assistant to join a small, friendly team on a part-time basis. The role will support the company accountant with both finance and office admin tasks.

About the Role:
This is a varied role supporting both finance and general office administration. You’ll play a key part in keeping the financial operations running smoothly and ensuring the day-to-day office tasks are under control.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reconciling bank accounts for 2 main entities
  • Supplier reconciliations both aged and going forward
  • Utility company invoice reconciliations
  • Processing supplier payments
  • General office admin and support tasks

What We’re Looking For:
  • Previous experience in finance or bookkeeping
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Confident with Excel and accounting systems (e.g. Xero, QuickBooks, or similar)
  • Able to manage time effectively and work independently
  • Friendly, can-do attitude
