Day-to-Day of the Role

As a Special Needs Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Provide tailored support to children with autism, helping them achieve their personal and educational goals.
• Work collaboratively with a team of dedicated professionals in a supportive and dynamic environment.
• Engage with innovative teaching methods and resources designed to support the unique needs of each student.
• Participate in training and development sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge in SEN support.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role with transferable skills, specifically within SEN settings.
• A strong desire to go above and beyond to make a significant impact on the lives of children with special needs.
• Must possess or be willing to obtain a DBS check on the update service.
• Confidence in handling the challenges and rewards that come with working in a special needs environment.
