Overview
Title: Netball Coach
Contract: The netball season runs from September through to April, however, coach availability will be required from June which is when pre-season training commences.
Hours:2 hours per week (training) + 1.5-6 hours per week (weekend fixtures)
Location:
Training takes place at Holy Cross Prep School (George Rd, Kingston upon Thames KT2 7NU) or Tiffin Girls School (Richmond Rd, Kingston upon Thames KT2 5PL).
Home fixtures take place at different venues depending on the team and can be at Three Rivers Academy (Bell Farm Way, Hersham, Walton-on-Thames KT12 5EJ), Tiffin Girls School, Nonsuch High School (Ewell Rd, Sutton SM3 8AB) and Esher College (Weston Green Rd, Thames Ditton KT7 0JB). Away fixtures are generally played within the M25, potentially slightly further afield for Regional fixtures depending on home venue of the opposition.
Pay: £15-£25 per hour. Pay is calculated by age, experience and qualifications.

Tiffin Netball Club (NC) is seeking a passionate and dedicated coach to join the club, in particular a dynamic and forward-thinking individual to support our Regional, A and B teams.
Tiffin NC is a competitive and friendly club based in Kingston. Tiffin NC has five strong senior teams with our top teams represented in the London and South East Regional, Poly, and Surrey & Kingston leagues. Tiffin NC supports players from new-recruits through to high performance Regional players and are looking for a head coach to join our netball family.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in netball coaching and a commitment to educating and developing athletes of all skill levels. This role is crucial in fostering a positive and motivating environment, where individuals can thrive and achieve their personal best.
Duties
Develop and implement training programmes tailored to the needs of individual athletes and teams.
Educate players on the rules, techniques, and strategies of the sport.
Conduct training sessions on a Monday night, ensuring players are engaged, challenged, and safe.
Coach at netball fixtures on a weekend providing constructive feedback to the teams.
Monitor athletes' progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance performance.
Foster teamwork, sportsmanship, and a positive attitude among participants.
Maintain open communication with athletes, parents, and other stakeholders regarding progress and development.
Stay updated on the latest coaching techniques and sports science to continually improve coaching methods.
Skills
Proven experience in netball coaching with a strong understanding of the sport's fundamentals.
Excellent communication skills to effectively educate and motivate athletes.
Strong organisational skills to manage training schedules, events, and athlete development plans.
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups of individuals.
A passion for sports and a commitment to fostering a positive sporting environment.
Strong leadership qualities that inspire confidence and respect among athletes.
Essential Requirements
Experience of playing netball and an understanding of the game.
Experience of coaching senior or university level netball players
An active netball coaching qualification e.g. Level 1, 2 or 3.
An active Advanced DBS check.
An active Emergency First Aid Level 1 qualification or above.
