About the role

We are looking for a reliable and efficient Order Picker to join our team at Venus Wine and Spirit Merchants PLC, based at our Tottenham Depot. As a key part of our logistics team, you will be responsible for accurately picking and processing orders, ensuring timely and safe delivery of our premium products. This is a part-time, permanent position offering 25 hours per week, with the opportunity to work additional hours during peak business periods. It’s a great chance to be part of a well-established company in the industry.

You will be responsible for

  • Pick and process orders from a given pick list
  • Ensure orders are accurate
  • Stack items correctly for delivery
  • Operate handling equipment and ensure safety regulations are followed
  • Carry out stock replenishments
  • Ensure warehouse goals are met
  • Maintain a high level of health and safety standards
  • Shrink wrap products to pallets
  • Perform other general warehouse duties as needed

You will need

  • Preferably previous experience working in a warehouse 
  • Attention to detail 
  • Ability to lift heavy objects 
  • Experience handling of electric pump trucks 
  • Positive attitude 
  • Self-Motivated; active 
  • Safety conscious 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment 
  • Good communication skills; good spoken and written English 
  • Ability to work well both in a team and alone
