About the role

Warehouse Night Supervisor. This is a key role in ensuring the safe and smooth running of the site during night operations.

Main responsibilities of the role are:

• To support the night operation by supervising a small warehouse team to ensure safe and timely loading of vehicles
• To maintain high standards of health and safety across the site and ensure all colleagues follow site rules
• To ensure delivery paperwork and system entries are completed accurately and on time
• To complete defect logs, accident forms and report any safety issues
• To manage contractors while on site, ensuring they follow site procedures
• To support the welfare and wellbeing of all night colleagues and drivers
• To liaise with South Elmsall and other sites for any urgent matters or support needs
• To carry out handovers, return to work meetings and communicate business updates with the team
• To maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times

Skills and Experience:

• Previous experience in a warehouse supervisor or team leader role
• Good understanding of warehouse safety and processes
• Ability to lead a small team and ensure work is completed safely and on time
• Comfortable using warehouse systems and completing required paperwork
• A strong communicator, able to work well with colleagues, drivers and other sites
• A team player who takes pride in running a safe and organised site
