About the role
Warehouse Night Supervisor. This is a key role in ensuring the safe and smooth running of the site during night operations.
Main responsibilities of the role are:
- To support the night operation by supervising a small warehouse team to ensure safe and timely loading of vehicles
- To maintain high standards of health and safety across the site and ensure all colleagues follow site rules
- To ensure delivery paperwork and system entries are completed accurately and on time
- To complete defect logs, accident forms and report any safety issues
- To manage contractors while on site, ensuring they follow site procedures
- To support the welfare and wellbeing of all night colleagues and drivers
- To liaise with South Elmsall and other sites for any urgent matters or support needs
- To carry out handovers, return to work meetings and communicate business updates with the team
- To maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times
Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience in a warehouse supervisor or team leader role
- Good understanding of warehouse safety and processes
- Ability to lead a small team and ensure work is completed safely and on time
- Comfortable using warehouse systems and completing required paperwork
- A strong communicator, able to work well with colleagues, drivers and other sites
- A team player who takes pride in running a safe and organised site
