Sales and Reservations Consultant

Job Purpose: Join our client as a Sales & Reservations Consultant, where you'll provide exceptional customer service while selling a wide range of holidays. Your role directly impacts revenue, client satisfaction, and the company's reputation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Offer expert guidance to customers, helping them select the perfect holiday.
  • Achieve monthly sales targets through effective selling and upselling.
  • Build and nurture customer relationships, maintaining high client satisfaction.
  • Respond promptly to web/live chat inquiries and chase leads through outbound calls.
  • Handle administrative tasks related to bookings, including flights.
  • Collaborate with Tour Leaders and other stakeholders.
  • Participate in educational trips and trade shows as needed.
  • Adhere to Health and Safety policies and work flexible hours, including occasional Saturdays.

Skills and Experience:

  • Sales experience, ideally in the Travel Industry.
  • Strong customer service skills with a professional telephone manner.
  • Sound geographical knowledge and a passion for travel.
  • Consultative and empathetic approach to customer needs.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and work autonomously.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Knowledge of GDS (Amadeus) is a plus, but training can be provided.
