Office Administrator

JRRL have an exciting opportunity for an Office Administrator to join our client in Potters Bar on a Part Time basis - 20 hours per week.  You will be a key member of the team ensuring the smooth and efficient operations of the office.

Duties for the Office Administrator:

  • Act as first point of contact answering and filtering calls; typing, reports, minutes, preparation and issue of documents, updating spreadsheets, organising and storing documents electronically, managing the invoice approval process.
  • Making outbound calls to book appointments for the surveying team and answer residents' queries.
  • Diary Management using Outlook.
  • Manage inventory of office supplies.
  • Oversee third party contractors for the office including cleaners and electricians.
  • Amend and format documents whilst undertaking quality checks to ensure all documentation is consistent, up to date and complies with standards.
  • Supporting the team with administration tasks as required.

Person Specification for the Office Administrator:

  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite.
  • Presentable and articulate communicator.
  • Previous experience within administration and customer service.
  • High attention to detail.

Hours: This is a PART TIME position working 20 hours per week spread over 5 days (flexible on hours 9-1 or 10-2 for instance). The role comes with some hybrid working.

Salary: £25,000 - £27,000 FTE (full time equivalent) 

The Office Administrator is a part time, permanent position. The salary range reflects the candidate's level of experience. The lower end of the band is suited for individuals who may require additional training to meet the role's requirements, while the higher end is for candidates who possess the exact skills and experience outlined above.
