A leading education establishment have an opening for a School Administrator to join their team. The School Administrator role involves supporting the HR Manager, assisting with recruitment, and providing a comprehensive and confidential administrative support service.
Hourly rate: £19 P/H
2 days per week (Thursday and Friday) | Term time only
Immediate start - ongoing role
School Administrator responsibilities:
Supporting with the administration of all new starters including processing DBS and Occupational Health clearances, application forms and appointment checklists
Assisting with contract variations and leavers
Responsibility for the recording of staff information onto ITrent and SIMS
Ensuring that all employee data and personnel files are secure, accurate, up-to-date, and fully compliant
Referring staff to Occupational Health as directed by the HR Manager
Advertising school vacancies on TES, the school website, and other media
Managing and responding to all email and written enquiries and coordinating the taking up of references
Corresponding with applicants at all stages of the recruitment process
Producing itinerary for interviews, arranging panels, tours and rooms as required
Liaising with payroll as necessary to submit payroll requests and resolve queries
Producing reports from Bromcom as required by the HR Manager/Business Director
Attending and participating in relevant meetings as required
School Administrator required skills/competencies:
Enhanced DBS disclosure required
Experience working within a school/educational setting desirable
Proficient in IT systems including good working knowledge of Excel and Word
