Our client is a specialist law firm which has some very interesting and high-profile clients. They are expanding and it is time for them to hire their first Financial Controller on a Part-time basis.
The culture of the business is open, collaborative, inclusive and high energy. As such you must be interpersonally very strong and enjoy building strong working relationships and problem solving.

Hold monthly meetings with the Partners to discuss WIP, aged debt, pricing etc.; agreeing on an appropriate course of action for all discussion points.
Manage the firm’s budgets, forecasting and cash flow forecasts.
Production of annual statutory accounts and internal financial reports.
Communicate month end results, budgets and forecasts to the Partners. Ensuring that they are understood, and any actions required by the Partners are effectively communicated.
Improvement of finance process efficiency through automation and optimising the usage of technology which I anticipate will include the implementation of Xero.
