The Cleaner at Johnson Way is responsible for maintaining a clean and professional working environment across office spaces, communal areas, and facilities. Working in line with GM Group’s 7* Standards, this role ensures a consistently high level of hygiene and tidiness in the workspace.
Main Duties
Maintain high cleanliness standards in all areas, including offices, restrooms, communal spaces and canteens.
Perform regular cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting, sanitising surfaces, and waste disposal.
Conduct periodic deep cleaning tasks such as window cleaning and high-level dusting.
Restock hygiene supplies and kitchen facilities including hand sanitisers, toilet paper, and soap.
Empty bins and dispose of waste in accordance with company policies.
Ensure all cleaning equipment is well-maintained, regularly restocked and stored safely following Health and Safety protocols.
Report any maintenance or repair needs to the Front of House Manager.
Monitor and report any health and safety hazards.
Ensure storage areas and supply rooms are organised and stocked.
Follow the GM House cleaning guidelines and etiquette daily.
Hours
This is a permeant role
Mon-Fri - 2 hours per day
Total - 10 hours per week
Person Specification
Essential
Be adaptable to changing work schedules and available to support the team during peak times and high-demand periods.
A proactive and positive attitude with excellent attention to detail.
Good communication skills and a friendly, professional approach.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable
Basic knowledge of health & safety and COSHH regulations (training will be provided).
Previous experience in cleaning commercial office spaces.
