Female Care Assistant - Home Care

The Role

A Right at Home South Liverpool Care Assistant spends a minimum of 1 hour with each of our private clients who live in their own homes in the Allerton, Gateacre, Woolton, Mossley Hill , Huyton, Childwall, Garston, Aigburth and Widnes areas. Duties differ from visit to visit. Many clients just need a little help getting their meals prepared or keeping on top of basic housework, gardening or going to the shops, whilst some clients require varying levels of Personal Care. One task that will be ever present is the ability to make a good cup of tea and have a friendly chat.

Are You New to Home Care?

Going into someone’s home to deliver care and support can seem a daunting prospect. To ensure you are fully prepared all staff undertake a thorough training program followed by regular ongoing and refresher training. Your initial home visits will always be carried out with a colleague whilst you ‘find your feet’. You will also have management support on every home visit you then make. Never will you be ‘thrown in at the deep end’.

About You

Flexible Hours of Work

You can commit to part time or full time hours that suit your lifestyle, whether that is mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekdays or weekends. Generally, our home visits happen 7 days a week from 8am – 10pm.

Career Development

We know that most Home Care Assistants love being out in the community visiting clients. We also know that others will eventually be looking to move into one of our office based roles or a supervisory / management position. Where possible, we always look to promote from within, which is supported by the relevant training and coaching to help you move up the career ladder, should you wish.
