HR Director Part-Time

Job Title: HR Director (Job Share – 2 Days Per Week)
Location: Central London (Office-Based, 2 Days Per Week)
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: up to £80k (pro rata) DOE
About Us:
A renowned industrial developer with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects and fostering an outstanding workplace culture is seeking a HR Director on a job share basis (2 days per week) to help drive their people strategy and ensure a thriving, high-performance environment.
The Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a senior HR professional to take on a strategic and hands-on role within the organisation. Reporting to the COO and working closely with the current HR Director and senior leadership, you will provide high-level HR expertise across the business, ensuring alignment with our company values and commercial objectives.
Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and executing the HR strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Partnering with the executive team to support organisational growth and transformation.
  • Overseeing all aspects of employee relations, talent acquisition, and retention strategies.
  • Driving performance management processes, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Managing and developing HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance and best practice.
  • Championing diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives across the business.
  • Advising on workforce planning and succession strategies.
  • Leading on key HR projects, including organisational change, culture initiatives, and leadership development.
  • Ensuring adherence to employment law and mitigating risks within the business.
  • Supporting leadership and line managers with coaching and development.

Key requirements:
They are seeking a seasoned HR leader who has operated at HR Director or Head of People level within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have solid experience senior HR role, with strong strategic acumen and a hands-on approach.
  • Experience across both UK and European markets is essential.
  • Possess a deep understanding of employment law, compliance, and best practice HR policies.
  • Excellent leadership and influencing skills.
  • A proactive and collaborative mindset.
  • Experience in industrial, construction, or property sectors (desirable but not essential).
