Position Summary:
In this Bookkeeping role at a well-established Chartered Accountants, you’ll be responsible for managing a dedicated client list and handling an array of financial duties such as:

• Day-to-day bookkeeping using systems like Xero, Sage, and QuickBooks – including producing accounts up to trial balance
• Creating monthly management reports
• Submitting VAT returns
• Performing bank reconciliations
• Addressing client queries and working closely with senior team members and Accountants

Ideal Candidate Profile:
To be a strong match for this role, you should possess:

• Solid understanding of double-entry bookkeeping and VAT, preferably with experience gained in an accounting practice
• A proactive mindset and the flexibility to adapt, paired with strong time management skills
• Confidence working in a fast-moving setting and excellent communication abilities to liaise effectively with clients
