Reed HR are seeking an experienced and qualified HR professional for a clothing manufacturing company based in Central London. As a stand-alone HR Manager, you will play a crucial role at the heart of the organisation, supporting the Board and Senior Management team with both strategic and day-to-day people/HR matters. This role is integral as the business experiences strong growth and change, highlighting investment in the HR function.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Lead the development and implementation of the company’s HR strategy.
  • Ensure adherence to employment laws and manage HR policies and processes effectively.
  • Proactively identify and suggest opportunities to improve HR processes and drive operational efficiency.
  • Support the Senior Management team with the implementation of performance management strategies, including annual performance appraisals and identifying opportunities for employee development.
  • Generate, maintain, and analyse HR reports on recruitment activity, performance management, headcount, and other key HR metrics.
  • Craft initiatives that promote a positive workplace culture and boost morale.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an HR Manager within a mid-sized entrepreneurial business, including exposure to strategic HR initiatives and hands-on HR operations.
  • CIPD Accreditation Level 5 (required) or Level 7 (desired).
  • Excellent knowledge of UK employment law.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to working with colleagues across departments.
  • Proficiency with HRIS and ability to carry out and present analysis.
  • High level of resilience and a positive mindset.
