We are pleased to be working with an exciting business based near Eastleigh that are looking for a Finance Assistant to join the team on a part time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous experience to work closely with the Financial Accountant.

This role is 25 hours - offering up to £30,000 (FTE)

Key responsibilities:

• Receive all purchase invoices and code accordingly
• Ensure all subcontractor invoices have the correct VAT applied
• Collate all ledgered purchase invoices with their respective purchase orders and delivery notes
• Collate authorised purchase invoices and prepare remittance advices for the monthly payment run
• Chase any missing goods received notes
• Reconcile supplier statements
• Post payments to the ledger
• Generate and send off monthly statements
• Ensure subcontractor accounts are kept up to date
• Prepare monthly CIS submissions

What they're looking for:

• Previous experience working in a finance team
• Good IT skills including Excel
• Excellent communication skills
