Part Time Ledger Clerk

Our client, an award winning, market leader in their field, is looking for a skilled Ledger Clerk to join their growing team.

Hours are approximately 16 per week, ideally across 5 days, but there is some flexibility.

You will assist the team in areas of purchase and sales ledgers including:

• Inputting and matching purchase invoices.
• Liaising with colleagues, requesting purchase orders and resolving any discrepancies.
• Assisting with the customer ledger.
• Chasing overdue accounts from the aged debt ledger and resolving queries.
• Taking card payments.
• Issuing monthly statements.
• Attaching remits to accounts to ensure that payments are allocated correctly.

You should have previous purchase ledger and sales ledger experience, excellent attention to detail, with strong communication and numeracy skills.
