Part Time Assistant Accountant

Assistant Accountant (Part time) – Worksop – up to £30,000 (pro rota) + Study Support

Management Accountant Responsibilities:

• Producing Monthly Accounts for overhead cost centres
• Supporting in the preparation of cost centre budgets and forecasts
• Reconciliation and processing of prepayments, accruals and standard charges
• Overseeing the completion of all bank account reconciliations
• Completing year end schedules required for tax packs on a monthly basis
• Reconciliation of PSA to ensure correct calculation and submissions to HMRC
• Monthly reconciliation of intercompany accounts with other group companies
• Assisting in the preparation of statutory accounts and tax packs
• Management of company paid credit cards
• Preparing quarterly VAT returns
• Replenishing and reconciling petty cash
• Processing Intercompany Journals
• Balance sheet reconciliation

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong IT literacy including Excel
• Very strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Actively studying or willingness to study ACCA, CIMA or ACA
• Drive, passion and enthusiasm to do a good job
• Experience in budgeting and finance would be desirable
