Economics Lecturer

  • Job Type: Permanent, Part-Time to Full-Time (minimum 4 days a week)

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Teacher of Economics to join our client's team from the academic year 25/26. This role is ideal for a candidate who is passionate about teaching A-level Economics and is looking for a flexible working arrangement ranging from part-time to full-time.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Deliver engaging and effective A-level Economics lessons that foster students' understanding and enthusiasm for the subject.
  • Prepare lesson plans and materials based on the curriculum and student needs.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to ensure academic development.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of the curriculum.
  • Engage with students, parents, and staff to promote a positive and supportive learning environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • A relevant teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS).
  • Proven experience in teaching A-level Economics.
  • Strong understanding of the current curriculum and assessment requirements for A-level Economics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students.
