Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and preferably experienced Gardener Groundsman to join our team for our ever growing portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a passion for gardening, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work efficiently in various weather conditions. This role involves a mix of garden maintenance tasks and small-scale landscaping projects, ensuring that our clients' gardens look their best throughout the season.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine garden maintenance tasks including mowing, pruning, weeding, and planting.
• Assist with landscape design and installation projects.
• Ensure all gardens are kept tidy, healthy, and visually appealing.
• Identify and treat pests, diseases, and other garden issues.
• Operate and maintain gardening tools and equipment.
• Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their gardening needs and preferences.
• Work collaboratively with the Bexhill Gardening team to achieve project goals.

Preferred

• Previous experience in gardening, landscaping, or horticulture desirable.
• Knowledge of local plants, flowers, and gardening techniques.
• Ability to operate various gardening tools and machinery.
• Strong physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labour in various weather conditions.
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license.

Working Conditions

• Full and part time positions available
• Work primarily outdoors in various weather conditions.
• May require occasional weekend work, especially during peak season.
