Responsibilities
Delivering apprenticeships in HR and Learning and Development L3 and L5.
Providing specialist information, advice, and support to learners
Providing the required level of support for each Apprentice to enable timely successful completions
Ensuring learners remain on programme by regularly checking in and carrying out progress reviews, either remotely or in the workplace on a 1:1 basis
Maintaining learners' records, including assessments records, plans and progress
Meets the needs of learners with additional learning support requirements with a variety of learning differences and disabilities.
Preparing apprentices for their End Point Assessment (EPA) and supporting with the off the job training
Assessing all work via an e-portfolio system
Implementing additional support where needed
Preserve up to date knowledge of safeguarding procedures
Responsible for personal ongoing CPD and keeping up to date with any changes within the sector
Attending quarterly standardisation meetings
Experience
Experience of working within the work-based learning industry, delivering apprenticeship qualifications and quality assuring against business standards - essential
You will have had at least 2 years' experience of working within the business, HR or L&D sectors.
Previous experience within the further education and/or training sector
Experience in a similar environment and of teaching a variety of learners with different abilities and age
Previous delivery of apprenticeship standards
Previous use of e-portfolio systems
Relevant experience of supporting and enabling learners with learning support needs
Qualifications
Assessor Award TAQA, A1 or equivalent - essential
IQA certificate - desirable
Teaching qualification - desirable
Skills
Excellent communication skills, able to effectively manage a caseload of apprentices and demonstrate good time management skills
You will also need knowledge of Microsoft Office software and have competent keyboard and IT skills
Hold a clean UK driving license and be a car driver
The successful candidate will be required to pass an Enhanced DBS check
