We're looking for Commissioning Engineers to join our Natural Resources, Nuclear and Networks team, based on the wastewater treatment sites across the Midlands, South Yorkshire and Derbyshire for our client Severn Trent.

Location: On site in Midlands, South Yorkshire or Derbyshire.

Contract: Permanent, Full Time – flexible and part time hours may be available if desired, just let us know.

What are my responsibilities?

In this role, we will need you to be involved with the planning, executing and documenting of commissioning tasks on the projects. You'll work alongside the programme of works in a safe manner, fully in accordance with processes, systems and procedures outlined by the client and ourselves.

Your day to day will include:

• Developing the Design Phase Commissioning Plan in collaboration with the Client's commissioning representatives.
• Conduct and document commissioning meetings on a periodic basis to suit the specific stage of the project, with a HAZCOMM review at the commencement of the commissioning phase of each project.
• Ensure that commissioning documentation is completed and available on the Common Data Environment, on a continuous basis, to demonstrate that testing requirements are fulfilled.
• Mark up drawings and documents that have been amended during the commissioning process and uploading as the basis for the final versions to be issued at completion.
• Assisting the Project Manager in the resolution of post-completion defects.

What are we looking for?

This role of is great for you if you have:

• Experience in the successful and safe commissioning of complex projects within the water industry.
• Working knowledge of sewage and water treatment processes, systems and typical M&E plant / equipment.
• Ability to generate concise reports as deliverables for the commissioning processes.
• CSCS or ECS card in an appropriate discipline.
