We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Fitness Motivator to join our growing team. The Role

We are looking for someone who is passionate about fitness and helping people to achieve their goals, brings good energy, has a proactive and positive attitude and cares for our customers. You will be passionate about leisure and encourage healthy activity and help reduce health inequalities in the borough.

Reporting to the Centre Fitness Manager, the successful candidate will have a passion for delivering excellent customer service. The successful candidate will:

  • Ensure the smooth day to day operations within the gym
  • Maintain vigilant supervision of the gym users ensuring their safety at all times.
  • Complete all cleaning and maintenance schedules, ensuring faults are reported immediately.
  • Conduct 1-2-1 Gym Appointments.
  • Offer training plans to include screening of customers, fitness assessments and prescribing lifestyle changes, dietary considerations and health and fitness development plans
  • Deliver consistent excellent customer service and provide a professional, efficient and cheerful presence at all times.

About You

  • Minimum level 2 Fitness Qualification. Hold a CIMSPA or REPs accredited Level 3 qualification
  • Experience working in a customer-facing environment, providing the highest levels of customer care.
  • Experience creating a programme for clients/members

Additional Information:

- Job type – Permanent (Full Time/Part time available) working across various centres
- Will be required to work occasional weekends and evenings to meet the needs of the service.
- Standard DBS check required.
