Proven Experience: A background in supervising large teams, managing rotas, conducting performance reviews, and handling return-to-work interviews.
Adaptability: The ability to work under pressure, both independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to meet business needs.
Commitment to Quality: A strong focus on maintaining high standards, with sound knowledge of Health & Safety and infection control practices.
Technical Proficiency: Good IT skills, fully proficient in Microsoft Office, and educated to GCSE level in English and Maths.
Passion for Care: A genuine enthusiasm for patient care, with excellent communication skills to engage effectively with patients, visitors, and healthcare staff.
Professional Resilience: Confidence in working within a hospital environment, including interacting with patients who may be seriously unwell or distressed.
Compliance: Willingness to undergo a Disclosure & Barring Service check, with costs covered by the employer.

Build Relationships: Professionally liaise with ward staff, doctors, and nurses to ensure efficient collaboration.
Monitor Quality: Conduct audits and generate reports to maintain excellent cleaning standards.
Manage Schedules: Maintain staff rotas and ensure all areas are adequately covered.
Support Staff Wellbeing: Conduct return-to-work interviews for staff after absences.
Review Performance: Hold regular performance reviews with both new hires and current staff.
Track Development: Undertake and document all necessary training sessions.
