Part-Time Housekeeper (3 Days a Week) - Cranbrook
Location: Cranbrook, Kent
Salary: £20 - £23 gross per hour
Hours: 3 Days a Week (9:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
Start Date: ASAP

A friendly, family-focused household in rural Cranbrook is looking for a reliable and dedicated part-time housekeeper to assist in the upkeep of their home. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a family in a beautiful, spacious property.

Key Responsibilities:

• Housekeeping: Perform high-standard cleaning throughout the house, including tidying, ironing, washing, and maintaining cleanliness of shelves and surfaces.
• Tidying & Organising: Ensure the home remains tidy and well-maintained, including fluffing and plumping cushions, managing laundry, and assisting with overall organisation.
• Errands: Assist with errands such as dropping off dry cleaning, grocery shopping, and maintaining general household supplies (must have own car).
• Guest Preparation: Prepare rooms for guest arrivals, including ensuring rooms are ready and neat for family visitors.

Requirements:

• The clients would prefer a non-smoker
• Driver with own car (for errands such as dry cleaning and grocery shopping)
• Previous housekeeping experience, particularly in high-end or family homes, with a strong focus on cleaning and tidying
• Must be trustworthy and able to maintain discretion in a high-profile environment
• An up to date DBS check is required for this role
• Comfortable working around young children (2-year-old).
• Discrete and hardworking, trustworthy and able to manage your own time

• Adults: 2 parents
• Child: 2-year-old, attends nursery in the mornings
• Other Staff: Family assistant and a gardener also employed
• Property: Large 8-bedroom, 6-bathroom home across 3 floors
