Accountancy Practice specialists Taylor Rose Recruitment have been instructed on an Accounts Portfolio Manager opportunity on behalf of a progressive firm of Chartered Accountants in Milton Keynes.
Perfect for an ACA or ACCA Qualified individual (PQ or MAAT also considered) working in practice looking for continued progression and an excellent work/ life balance.
You will manage all aspects of your own diverse portfolio of clients from a range of sectors providing accounts and tax services, involving more tax/ business advisory work as the role progresses.

The Role:
Managing all aspects of the client portfolio, acting as the main point of contact
Preparation/ review of year-end statutory accounts
Management accounts preparation
Preparation of Tax compliance
Identifying tax planning opportunities
Dealing with HMRC and other third parties
Training junior staff and reviewing their work
Assisting with other ad hoc advisory assignments

You:
ACA/ ACCA Qualified
ACA/ ACCA Part Qualified or MAAT also considered
Experience of managing a client portfolio (ideally)
Strong accounts and tax compliance experience
Background in accountancy practice
Excellent communication skills
