The role
This is a part-time (18 hours per week) job share position, offering the opportunity to play a key role in shaping library services in the Dulwich area. With an exciting full-scale refurbishment of Dulwich Library planned for 2025/26, this is a fantastic time to join and make a lasting impact.
As Library Manager, you will:
? Lead and manage staff to ensure high-quality library services.
? Oversee the day-to-day operations of Dulwich Library and support three additional local libraries.
? Work as part of the library management team to develop and deliver strategic objectives that enhance services for the community.
? Foster partnerships and engagement, working with all areas of the diverse local community.
? Contribute to the planning and development of library services in alignment with local and national priorities.
About You
We are looking for a confident and skilled leader who:
?? Has experience managing staff and services in a customer-focused environment.
?? Can take initiative, bring fresh ideas, and drive service improvements.
?? Has experience in partnership working and delivering projects in collaboration with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
?? Is passionate about libraries and their role in supporting communities.
