Care Assistant at Home Life Carers

Come and join our newly formed mobility team at Home Life Carers, you will be responsible for managing new care runs whilst handing them over to newly recruited Care Assistants.

We are looking for full time availability, spread over mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends. You will be paid per shift so your travel time and mileage will be paid.

Location: Given the nature of the role, you'll be expected to travel throughout the Exeter region which includes the following postcode areas: EX1, EX2, EX4, EX15, EX16, EX17 and EX20.

Pay Rate: £12 to 14.20 per hour (depending on day and location) plus paid mileage

Shifts: Various available -- full time hours

Due to the nature of the role, car driver/owners are needed.

Job Description

Care Assistant: Role & Responsibilities

Our care assistants are the extraordinary people who do the everyday things that mean so much to our clients. Supporting them to live safer and supported lives in their own homes, you’ll follow individual care plans and assist with personal care, helping clients to bathe, dress, manage incontinence, use the toilet and supporting them with their medication. You’ll also help with practical tasks like shopping, mealtimes and housework.

• Looking for full-time and part-time care assistants

• Companionship – being a friendly face & preventing loneliness
• Personal Care – all aspects of personal hygiene
