. Finance Director Part Time £competitive pro rated Salary and benefits

My client is a leading professional services business in Chesterfield going from strength to strength. An experienced Finance Director is required to join the business on a part time basis 20 hours a week to provide key financial information on the performance of the organisation and work closely with the CEO.

Key responsibilities include:

* Overseeing all financial operations and planning
* Co ordinate, analyse and report financial performance to the Senior leadership team and designated members
* Prepare short term financial forecasts for use within external management
* Oversight of the audit and tax functions , co-ordinate aviaries with outside audit firms and review financial performance
* Management development , implementation and maintenance of accounting and administrative policies and procedures for a wide-ranging set of activities including financial accounting and reporting
* Oversee the budget process and guide cross functional teams in creating, maintenance and reporting against financial goals.

The Person

* You will have a proven track record of working in a senior finance role in your career to date and hold a CCAB accounting qualification
* Ideally you will have worked within professional service although this is not essential
* You will have a good understanding of financial reporting principles
* You will have strong analytical , presentation and influencing skills at senior / board level .
