Bookkeeper (Part Time or Full Time hours)

My client is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper with XERO

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper who has experience of using XERO to join our accountancy practice in Leicester.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the delivery of bookkeeping services and preparation of VAT returns and management for several companies. Experience of using Xero is a key requirement for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Handling day-to-day finance duties and tasks.

  • Sales and Purchase Ledger reconciliations and invoicing.

  • Process payments, invoices, income and entering data on Xero

  • Prepare VAT returns for submissions

  • Liaising with HMRC when required

  • Providing clients with support in utilising Xero and provide trouble shooting advice

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role

  • Efficient in Xero and other accounting softwares

  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively

  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal

Experience:

  • bookkeeping: 2 years (required)

This role is suited to an experienced bookkeeper, ideally with practice experience and proficient in the use of Xero software.

Job Types: Part time but Full time considered

Pay: Subject to experience

Expected minimum hours: 15+ per week

Pay: From £15.00 per hour
