Job Title: Part-Time Qualified Accountant

Location: Bo’ness

Reed are currently working with a growing Accountancy Practice who are looking to recruit a Qualified Accountant to join their team on a part time basis.

Job Description: The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, be confident managing a portfolio of clients whilst also supporting a Trainee Accountant. This role is perfect for someone looking to balance work with other commitments while contributing to a dynamic and supportive team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review financial statements and reports
• Manage bookkeeping and payroll processes
• Conduct tax planning and preparation
• Provide financial advice and support to clients
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
• Provide training and support to Trainee Accountant

Qualifications:

• ACCA or ICAS qualified
• Ideally 1 year post qualified
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero)
• Strong understanding of UK tax laws and regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Hours:

• Part-time (flexible hours, 2-3 days a week, option to change days / hours when needed)

Salary:

• Competitive, based on experience
