Turnaround Care Home Manager - Salary: up to £80,000 per annum

We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate Turnaround Manager Care Home Manager with experience in Turnaround Management to lead our Abbot Care Home in Harlow, Essex. Abbot Care Home is a beautiful 117 en-suite bedroomed nursing and care home with garden and park views, comprising 4 units over 3 floors.

As Turnaround Care Home Manager, you will have strategic responsibility in managing this large home with the support of an internal team including two Care Managers, Nurses, Care and Ancillary Teams as well as close links to our Support Office and Regional Teams.

• Salary: Up to £80,000 per annum
• 45 hours a week

About you:

• Previous experience as a Care Home/ Turnaround Manager in a large nursing home setting, leading and developing strong teams
• Strong strategic experience and operational commerciality
• Passion and drive for delivering ‘outstanding’ quality of care and making a difference every day.
• Use of electronic systems eg Care Planning, Medication, notifications etc would be beneficial
• Nurse qualified with active PIN highly desirable but not essential
• Passion and drive to always deliver ‘outstanding’ care
• Sound knowledge of CQC Regulations and legislation including the current single assessment framework inspection regime
• Excellent organisation and planning skills
• Strong communication skills and relationship building with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
• Sound business acumen and experience in managing budgets
• Flexibility to attend the home during the evening or weekend as the need arises.
