Sales & Marketing Business Partner – Up to 60k plus 5k Car Allowance

This is an exciting opportunity for a driven and committed Sales & Marketing Business Partner for a large portfolio of care and nursing homes. Reporting to the Head of Sales & Marketing, your role would be to develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies and improvement plans that ultimately increase referrals to our care homes and homecare service.

Excelcare is a privately owned care provider with our support office in Bromley, Kent. We have 31 Care and Nursing homes in the South East across Essex, Cambridge, South London and Essex, as well as a homecare service based in Tower Hamlets, East London.

A background in care homes or private social care will be required in order to understand and develop our target market as well as knowledge of key stakeholders within the sector including the commissioners of care services in order to identify business opportunities.  

You’ll have excellent people and relationship building skills along with bags of empathy and compassion. If you have worked on contracts, tenders and price negotiations this would also be advantageous.

Main responsibilities of the Sales & Marketing Business Partner:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and support services to establish relationships with other referral streams i.e. hospitals, GP’s and local community groups.
  • Increase brand awareness through targeted campaigns which may be company wide or home specific – this would also include photography and videography.
  • Develop and share innovative marketing approaches such as virtual tours, interactive content and community engagement events.
  • Develop and communicate guidance materials on showcasing services and sales & marketing systems and processes.
  • Track and refine the customer journey to improve enquiry conversions.
  • Negotiate appropriate fees for the delivery of an outstanding service and win business.
  • Work closely with the care home managers and care teams to ensure a smooth experience with regard to move-in and individual family experience.
  • Create and tailor branding and formatting of media, documents, adverts and marketing collateral ensuring brand values and culture are reflected.
  • Support key sales and marketing projects as well as events such as open days, webinars and service-specific activities along with the wider team.
  • Conduct site visits to our services as required to ensure teams are engaged and trained on the CRM system and our enquiry process.
  • Delivery of training on key topics both face to face and online.
  • Reporting as required in a timely manner.
