Join a highly respected accountancy practice as a Payroll Administrator. This part-time role is perfect for individuals with a strong background in payroll operations and client management.
Day-to-day of the role:
Process client payrolls and BACS payments efficiently.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, resolving queries and liaising on payroll and employment matters.
Ensure compliance with current payroll legislation and conduct regular compliance checks.
Manage payroll elements such as starters, leavers, holiday pay, and pension deductions.
Liaise with HMRC for tax calculations, NIC contributions, and other necessary communications.
Handle auto enrolment, maintain pension scheme records, and manage RTI submissions and CIS returns.
Maintain accurate and concise records and ensure timely recording on timesheets.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience in end-to-end payroll processing within an accountancy practice.
Proficiency in Sage Payroll and Xero Payroll.
CIPP qualification is desirable but not essential.
Strong mathematical and IT skills, including intermediate proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Excellent attention to detail with high levels of accuracy for data entry.
Ability to handle multiple deadlines, work independently, and as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills and a customer service-oriented approach.

The role will be offering a part time 25 hour working week. Full time will also be considered.
