Working Hours:

• Saturday & Sunday:
  • Morning Shift: 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM
  • Supper Shift: 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM

We are looking for an experienced Cook to join our friendly and professional team at a nursing home in Deal, Kent. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as a cook and a strong understanding of food safety standards.

• Prepare and cook nutritious meals according to the nursing home’s menu and dietary requirements.
• Ensure high-quality food presentation and portion control.
• Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment in compliance with Health & Safety and Food Hygiene regulations.
• Follow food safety procedures and complete all necessary record-keeping.
• Collaborate with the care team to meet residents’ dietary needs.
• Manage stock levels and order supplies when necessary.

• Previous experience as a Cook, preferably in a care home or similar environment.
• Valid Food Hygiene Certificate and knowledge of HACCP regulations.
• Health & Safety awareness related to kitchen and food preparation.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Available to start ASAP!
